入学式の前に行われる健康診断で体育館に移動するために廊下で並んでいる時に、香空にぼしさんがカバンの中をゴソゴソしている時に香空にぼしさんが声をかけたそうです。

それに対し、香空にぼしさんが

これがきっかけで2人は仲良くなったそうです。

二人共お笑い好きではなかったそうで、人前に出るタイプではなく、むしろ教室の隅っこにいるタイプだったことを以前のインタビューで答えていました。

いわし：いや、二人とも全然お笑い好きとかじゃなかったんです。むしろ、クラスの隅っこにいるタイプで。だけど、文化祭でクラスの陽キャの人たちが漫才とかやってるのを見て、「何がおもろいねん」とか言ってたんです。

それでも、「ハイスクール漫才」に出たそうです。

サンドウィッチマンのネタの完コピをやり、普段大阪弁にも関わらず、完コピ市議て標準語になっていることに

「ハイスクール漫才」に出たことで、高校生だけでライブ開いたりと色んな世界があることを感じ新鮮に感じたそうです。

その後、NSCにはいることを決め、伽説いわしさんの親は

香空にぼしさんの親は認めてくれなかったそうです。

その後、2人はNSC大阪校35期で入学をしています。

大阪校35期は2012年4月入学になるので、香空にぼしさんが大学2年生、伽説いわしさんが大学1年生になったタイミングでNSCに入学したことが分かります。

その後、にぼしいわしは2013年にはデビューをしています。
